Aspley Classes for Seniors

Aspley Classes for Seniors (ACFS) is an activity jointly sponsored by the Anglican Parish of Aspley-Albany Creek, the Aspley Catholic Parish of Our Lady and St Dympna and the Aspley Parish of the Uniting Church in Australia.  ACFS has been in operation since 1995 and operates under a Memorandum of Understanding between the 3 parishes.

The purpose of ACFS is to provide opportunities for learning in a wide range of subjects for citizens aged 50 years and above.  Classes are currently offered in approximately 20 subjects encompassing the following areas: Art and Craft, Needlework, Music, Games and Exercise, Languages, Reading and Writing.  Several classes including Computers will resume when new tutors are appointed.  Most classes are run in four 7-week terms each year.

Term 2 - Enrolment Morning: Wednesday 23 April 2025 from 10.00 am to 11.00 am in the spleyUnitingChurchHall,748 Robinson Road, Aspley.

Tuition Fees (Cash only): All classes cost $25 per term, except

  • Computer Class: $35 per term (except Term 2; see details on page 3).

  • Book Club: $35 for 10 monthly sessions (also see details on page 3).

Casual attendance at an individual class is $5 per session if space is available.

All classes run for 90MINUTES each week during a 7-week term unless otherwise marked. Some classes have restrictions on numbers
