Hall Hire information

We offer a beautiful hall, separate from the church, available for both special one-off events and regular classes or workshops. Our hall features:

  • Carpeted flooring

  • Air-conditioning

  • Capacity for 80 people (40 with current social distancing regulations)

  • Two data projectors

  • Screens

  • A sound system

  • A piano

  • A spacious kitchen with an industrial dishwasher

  • A hot water system for your convenience

  • Fully disability compliant facilities

  • Compliance with the Industry Safe Covid-19 Plan to ensure a safe environment

Hall Hire Rates and Conditions

Regular Bookings:

  • Insurance: A copy of Certificate of Public Liability Insurance for $10 million must be provided to the Parish.

  • Cost: $25 per hour, payable either after each event (weekly) or at the end of each month/term.

  • Payment: Inform the office and Treasurer of your booking dates for accurate invoicing if paying monthly or per term. Payment can be made in cash to the Parish Office or by direct deposit.

  • Documentation: A Diocesan licence form must be completed annually.

  • Key: A hall key is provided at a cost of $18.00, fully refundable upon return of the key.

  • Maintenance: Leave the hall neat and tidy and remove all rubbish to the Parish wheelie bins. Report any issues with the hall.

Private Functions:

  • Bond: $600, payable no later than one week before the event. This will be refunded post-event, provided there is no damage and the premises are left clean and tidy.

  • Hire Rate: $50 per hour, payable in full before the event. Adjustments can be made if hours of use change.

  • Kitchen Fee: $45, payable before the event. A cleaning fee will be deducted from the bond if the kitchen is not left clean.

  • Insurance Fee: $25, payable along with the insurance form before the event.

  • Documentation: A Diocesan Licence Agreement must be signed.

  • Key: Pick up the key in the week before the hire and return it promptly after the event.

  • Rubbish: Any rubbish that does not fit in the Council bins must be removed from the site.

  • Noise: Adhere to local council noise regulations as detailed in the hire agreement.
