Since 1940, Taizé, a small village in France, has been the home of an ecumenical community of brothers whose prayer, three times a day, is at the centre of their life. The prayer is meditative and characterised by song and silence, and there is a beauty and a simplicity to the worship.
Our Taizé services are held quarterly on a Sunday evening. Each provides a Sacred Prayer Space with candlelight, meditative songs both instrumental and sung, reflection on brief scripture readings and silence. Taizé is a gentle way to join in communal worship.
Sunday, September 15 at 6pm
This will be held in Sacred Space, the small chapel at the left hand side of the main church building.
All are most welcome.
