Some Sundays will be more traditional and some will be more contemporary in style. Both styles will include a children’s talk and an opportunity for children’s ministry.
A children’s message is provided each week
Children can use the area at the back of the church to move around and do activities during worship. There’s also the opportunity for children to play instruments during the final song.
In the School holidays the children stay in Church and we stretch the boundaries of our worship style to include the children even more than usual. This includes things like families and small groups preparing prayers and lighting a candle as they share the prayer with the congregation. Or it may be that the children gather around the Altar for the Eucharistic prayer.
Our family worship endeavors to bring together the rich tradition of Anglican worship with contemporary worship. We want to communicate to children. young people and adults that it is possible to believe in God and be a part of a lively joyful Christian Community.
Stay on for a COVID safe, morning tea in the hall afterwards
. It is a great time to get to know other members of the congregation and to catch up with friends.
