Our worship on Sunday morning starts with a traditional Sung Eucharist. But don’t imagine this as a dreary old fashioned service. It is a welcoming friendly congregation with a good number of deeply faithful people who bring the worship alive with their participation in the hymns, the readings and the prayers.
We are blessed to have a gifted organist and a choir. They practice every Wednesday. We use the Dudman setting for our Eucharist. On top of the congregational hymn singing the choir provides an anthem during the psalm and another as we receive communion.
Our liturgy is from the Prayer Book. We sensitively make the most of the seasons of the Church to nurture joy and growth in our spirituality each week. Many love to gather in silence before worship but the conversations abound over a cuppa in the hall after the worship.
