Why an elephant? The personification of our logo is that of a trusted aunt. At mainly music, we seek to provide a village [in terms of the African continent proverb, ‘It takes a village to raise a child’]. Providing a ‘village’ has a sense of extended family, which elephants do quite well. When a calf is born, the aunties have a lot of input into the care of the calf and the mother. The bond between a baby elephant and its mother is one of the closest of any animal on earth.
